April 13th, 2023 update: the big story is that there’s an $8.9 billion over 25 years of settlement. Lawyers representing cancer victims who are part of MDL class action MDL group action vowed to fight the settlement along with talc claimants. Why? Johnson & Johnson asserts that bankruptcy is the only method to settle both present and future talc-related lawsuits definitively.
