April 12 2023 Update: Many are wondering if J&J can go through bankruptcy once more. The answer is complicated and complex. Let’s try to clarify it in simple terms.
Johnson & Johnson asserts that bankruptcy is the only way to address both present and future talc-related lawsuits definitively. In other words, it believes that it will be less expensive in the event of a bankruptcy element that creates pressure for a settlement.
